I am always excited to tell people what I have done.
Well I decided in July that I had to lose at least 20 lbs before my 40th birthday. I got on the Body By Vi

90 Day Challenge

which is a two meal replacement protein shake. What I loved about this program is that if I referred 3 people and they bought into it I would get the product FREE. The free product gave me an incentive to stay on track and also promote it more. I started feeling better and more energetic. I had not felt this way in years so for me this was and is something that I want to maintain for a long time.

Today is Oct 15th and I started a new 90 days and my goal is to loss another 20 lbs in the next days. Can I do it? Well if I put my mind to it I can. So here goes to day 1…

Natural Ways To Flavor Water

The rule on H2O is that we should consume at least 8-10 glasses of water per day, as for me that rule is great because I love water. But how do you get someone who hates water to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day? As for my hubby and kids they find water plain and hate to drink it. They are not the only ones who finds water plain and boring. For years have had to purchase juice because they refused to drink anything else. I found that the amount of sugar in their system would one day be harmful to their health. So how do I get them guzzle lots of water? by adding natural flavor without the added sweetners.

I have listed a few:


Sparkling water can be used instead of still water for the bubbly goodness
Fruit infusions are best if they’ve been allowed to steep for at least four hours
Natural Ways to Flavor Water
These fruits can be sliced or freeze any of the following into ice cubes and placed directly in an infusion pticher or a cup let steep for at least an hour


1.Berries: Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries
Strawberries and mint
2.Peaches
3.Cucumber and Lemons
4.Pineapple
5.Citrus Fruits: Lemons, Lime, Oranges, Grapefruit.
6.Sliced cucumber
7.Ginger – Steep slices of ginger in hot water. Pour over ice.
8.Mint – Break leaves apart so flavors are released
9.Unsweetened fruit juice – Add a splash of cranberry or pomegranate juice
10.Mixed fruit – Orange, lemon, lime, strawberrys, and cucumber go well together
11.Ginger and Lemon
12.Honeydew melon with Cucumber
13.Herbal Tea – A tea bag works is good for both hot & cold

Some of you are maybe wondering what I am talking about when I said I’m excited about my 90 challenge.

 

Well I have decided to take control of the things I can control which is ME. Finding your CENTER or your CORE is all about you. I have been kind of stuck for a bit with my spiritual, physical & financial status and I was getting tired of being tired. So you know what Albert Einstein said about Insanity?  Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
